Travel Tips

How to Get to Villa Di Geggiano

Villa di Geggiano is located just outside Siena in the Tuscan countryside, approximately 75 km (1 hour 15 minutes) from Florence Airport.

Rental Car (Highly Recommended)
If you prefer to explore Tuscany at your own pace, rental cars are available at the airport. From Florence Airport, the drive is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes via the RA3 / Siena–Firenze highway. Parking is available at the villa.

Taxi
Taxis are available outside the arrivals terminal at Florence Airport. The journey to Villa di Geggiano takes about 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on traffic. It will be difficult to get back to Florence from Geggiano, we recommend a private transfer.

Private Transfer
An easy way to move around. The MAISON FNC team can help you book your transfers. Please email us samantha@maisonfnc.com.

Train + Taxi
You can take a taxi or tram from Florence Airport into central Florence to Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station, then take a train to Siena Railway Station (about 1.5 hours). From Siena station, a taxi to Villa di Geggiano takes approximately 10–15 minutes.

Tip: If you plan to stay in Tuscany before or after the wedding, renting a car is a wonderful way to explore the countryside and nearby villages.
